“Sure, we can keep them here as long as you need… I won’t say anything, you have my word…Of course, dear…. No, no dear! You’re not a bad mother, it’s perfectly understandable…. Okay, just let us know when you’re ready for them to come home, and we’ll have them back as fast as the wardrobe can fly! Okay, okay…. Yes of course… Oh and Kirsten? Please try to take it easy, will you?… Good! ….Okay now, buh-bye.”
“Rock, paper, scissors!” Flynn and I both said at the same time.
“Rock! I win!” I laughed.
“Awh, no, best two out of three!” Flynn complained.
Just then we heard a quick knock on the door, then it opened…
It was Bianca. She had black tears going down her face. I guess girl witches have black tears when they cry, because it happens to my mom too.
“I just came to let you two know that there will be no class today. My sisters and I have some business to attend to. I already informed the girls, so please use your free time wisely.” She said, without even looking at me or Flynn.
“Oh, okay. Uhh…. Is everything okay?” I asked.
“Everything is fine!” Bianca smiled. “Now, behave yourselves, I must leave now.”
“Wait, Bianca! Can I have a hug?” I asked, hoping to cheer her up.
“Sure, kid.” She said, as I threw my arms around her.
“Wow! I can’t believe you actually hugged Bianca Crumplebottom!” Said Flynn.
“…It’s not really a big deal, Flynn. I’m related to her somehow.”
“All I’m sayin’ is, she’s a total babe.”
“I think she looked really sad.” I said.
“I could sure cheer her up! I wouldn’t worry about it though, Yellow. It’s probably just her… time of the month.” He whispered.
“Time of the month? What time of the month?”
EW! I seriously didn’t need to know that.
I don’t know about Salem, but I’ve really been enjoying my stay at the school of magic, even if I still haven’t gotten the hang of my magic skills like my sister has, it’s still really fun!
I even got to meet some relatives that lived in Midnight Hollow, the Goth family. Mortimer Goth is my dad’s cousin!
Cassandra is the same age as my cousin Birdie. She even seemed to know Birdie too!
“So, your miss priss cousin Birdie is too good for Midnight Hollow, eh?” She asked.
“Well, Birdie isn’t a witch…” I said.
“Ha! Birdie wouldn’t last a minute in a place like this!” Salem said.
Well at least Salem gets along with her… not so pleasant personality.
“Thanks for taking those nanopedes off my hands, Beatrice. The smell of them have been making me sick lately… I think I might be expecting.” Bella Goth whispered to Beatrice.
I’m not sure what exactly Mrs. Goth was expecting, but While they were chatting, Salem and I spent pretty much the whole time whispering about the yucky nanopedes inside the jar. They were so slimy and gross!
A few days later, Salem and I met in the hallway right after the Crumplebottom sisters had called just the two of us into the kitchen.
“What do those stupid sisters want? I was in the middle of a very important painting.” Salem scowled.
“How should I know Salem? Sheesh!”
Salem and I made our way into the kitchen, where the sisters were waiting for us. They didn’t look happy, and boy I was hoping we weren’t in trouble.
“Your parents and I have been talking a lot lately, as we were trying to find the perfect way to tell you both this. After much deliberation, we’re all still unsure about how to say this…” Belinda began.
“Your parents have requested that you two stay a few extra weeks. They have a lot to get in order before you come home. I really hate that I have to be the one to tell you this, but your Grandpa Erik is no longer with us. I’m truly sorry.”
A/N: For once, I don’t really know what to say. ;-; Please stick around for a very special post later tonight. Thank you all ♥
